New Job Joys

I started my new job at Reiss and have the tough tough decision of picking my uniform! Well being a magpie how can I resist these sequined beauties.... now all I need to decide is which ones will be mine!

More Fun than your Average Earring

Continuing on my feathered theme are these gorgeous ear cuffs by Anni Jugenson, my favourite two are the feather and cross designs. They definitely are much more fun than a pair of studs!

Spic Sparkle

Being a bit of a magpie I like anything sparkly and this nail glitter from GOSH is great! Looks good, although it is rather messy and requires a bit of practice to put on, but I loved the result. (I now have glitter everywhere!)

My nails: Black polish and gold glitter

W Magazine

Not a fan of Kirsten Stewart's.
But this shoots make-up and styling I do adore!

The Honourable Daphne Guiness

Jealous of her title. Jealous of her wardrobe.

Good Genes.

Some people just get all the luck with their beauty genes!

Rosie Huntington-Whitely at the premier of Transformers in London, looking natural in Burberry Beauty cosmetics. Also love the colour of the dress.

Its a nice weekend for a white wedding...

No matter where you were in the world this weekend you could probably hear wedding bells, tis the wedding season after all.

This weekend saw the weddings of Kate Moss and Jamie Hince, a model and rockstar a little cliched but ok, in a gorgeous Galliano gown. (Which reminded us despite all his controversy what a great designer he is.)

It also saw the union between the Price Albert of Monaco to Charlene Wittsock (now Princess the lucky thing) in an elegant and understated Armani off the shoulder dress.

Glasto: Music, mud and fashion

Well festival season is here for sure with Glastonbury, probably the most stylish of all festivals, leading the way with inspiration.

Standard denim cut-offs and wellies: which are practically de rigajour. However snooping through Vogue festival photographs I spotted and adored quite a few outfits which I will draw some inspiration from when it's time for me to start packing my tent and wellies (although I did see a lot of Mulberry bags, mine of which will not me put within a mile of mud and rain!) I particularly like the black dungarees worn by Talli Lennox below, manly as festivals are one of the few places you can get away with wearing a dungaree!

Costume Drama

Last night was spent in the gorgeous gothic surroundings of St Martins church for BFW's Brighton Frocks catwalk show. The venue was the perfect setting for the theatrical production, it was an utterly gorgeous evening.

The show featured 10 Brighton designers, and showcased everything from Georgian ladylike beauty to superhero chic. All the models were fantastic, even more so considering that it was the first time many of them had walked.

Bleach

I live with a girl who is obsessed with hair dye. She has pink hair and it is so, so beautiful! It also means I am now a tad in love with hair dye too, alas I would look ridiculous so I have to live my love of pastel hair through others.

In this months Vogue they wrote about East London hair salon Bleach, so being curious I went to their website and wow their work is amazing. from lilac locks to dip dyed ends it all looks incredible. And of course achingly cool. My favourites were these below.

Boot Lovin'

Since I bought them these desert boots have barely left my happy feet! They really are great; summery, practical, comfortable (even with a heel).

Bravo Topshop, Bravo!

Anyone wish to buy me a ticket to New York....

I am adoring any dress with back detail at the moment! This ASOS one is pretty cute, although I am still on the hunt for the perfect tie back dress....no luck yet sadly.

Procrastination....

Ok so I have loads of deadlines which means I am procrastinating like crazy and I have found something great to fill my time!

Its an online styling program where you can dress and style your virtual model from a wardrobe to die for. More fun than you can shake a stick at!

Here is my little creation for today (do love the maxi skirt at the moment) but I am sure you can do much better!

Made In Heaven

Last Autumn Prada have transcended their Italian design for a new program called "Made In" where local artisans from around the global create garments for Prada. Its local with a high fashion twist.

Have just started to see some of the pieces out and about now.
Love these Made in India bag and shoes!

Bring on the summer!

Bathing in Sunglasses

The new Miss Dior advert features Natalie Portman and one scene shows her bathing in sunglasses, as you do!

Kind of amused me.

I have no idea what this perfume smells like but I do now kind of want to take a bath in my shades. Well what Sundays are always quiet days you have to entertain yourself somehow I guess!
