The Model Agency

Ok I am so hooked on Channel 4's Model Agency, and finally just caught up to date on it (god bless 4od!).

You can't help but love Leomie! Such an amazing model.

O I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside

Ok so it's not got anything to do with anything really but sometimes I just really love living in Brighton! How beautiful does the beach look.

"Women Turn Into Birds Of Paradise At Night"

Love this tag line to the new Kurt Geiger campaign!

With seven trends for their Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook: Technicolour Dream, Sunset Strip Day-Glo, Rebel Rockers, Le Smoking, Flower Show, Berber Accent and A Whiter Shade of Pale

Makes me wish I had more than two feet....

Things of Beauty

Flicking through this month's Elle Magazine these Alexander McQueen shoes caught my eye. Beautiful brass and leather pieces of art. I like. I like.

Who cares what else you wear with them when they are this amazing!

Its the End of the World!

Chanel RTW A/W 2011 show was dramatic to say the very least, smoke, fire and brimstone... o and of course the intertwined Cs!

Image: Karl Lagerfeld, Daily Mail

Not only did the set blow you away the clothes were pretty stunning too. A bit of a change from the pastel tweeds and monochrome you associate with the brand. Of Lagerfeld's pieces I have seen my favorite was this feather dress, beautiful!

Do Not Adjust Your Set

Love this image of CK favorite Lara Stone by Steven Meisel, the cctv style, and the close hands. Awesome!

It is from Calvin Klein latest multimedia campaign, can't wait to see the rest! This is a brand with big, big plans!

O Dior

A little less theatrical than normal, but that was to be expected, the french fashion house still put on a pretty stunning show. All the drama came from the collection with a mixture of luxurious rich colours and fabrics, in contrast to more subtle and delicate pieces.

Overall a very feminine and completely exquisite show. Bravo!

Burberry Rebranding

Just pasting this all over the place in case anyone feels nice and would like to help me out.

My dissertation is on Burberry Rebranding so I am collecting public opinion on the brand, so if you fancy a quick questionnaire to brighten your day then it would be greatly appreciated!

Good Toes, Naughty Toes

It has been weeks and weeks since I saw it at the cinema but I still cannot get the costumes and wardrobe from 'Black Swan' out of my head. Completely and utterly in love with everyone of Portman's outfits in the movie, from the stunning ball gown at the party to the jersey layered basics when she is practicing, and of course the drama of her black and white swan gowns. Bravo Amy Westcott, bravo.

So basically my life plan is now to become a ballerina!

Arabian Nights

The turban has been on the undercurrent of fashion trends for the past few years, flitting in and out of the pages of magazines. But it never really made a splash or translated from the catwalk to real life; apart from a few of the cooler kids who are always one step ahead and definatly not shy when it comes to what they wear.

This year is no different and they have been on seen on the heads of models once again. Beautiful and full of impact, in delicious fabrics and colours. I like.

If only I had the pluck to pull them off.....

♥ The Leotard

This winter I have barely taken off my American Apparel unitard, ok so it's not the most attractive of items but boy is it warm and comfy.

Now its getting a bit warmer my love of the unitard is transferring to it's smaller sister, the leotard. The last time I wore one was when I was about 8 but I can see this spring being filled with them.

This photo of Daisy Lowe in Agent Provocateur is a few years old now, but how great is that leopard print leotard. And brave girl teaming it with only tights and heels!

The Fantastic Mr Fox (print dress)

She never puts a fashion foot wrong, Alexa Chung looks incredible in this Deyrolle maxi dress. The long, lean, elegant silouette, in contrast to the fun and kooky fox print dress.
True British style!

Leather T-Shirt? Yes Please!

Leather in the front, sheer in the back.

Topshop always have some great designs and how perfect is this t-shirt, and come summer will be a festival winner. Amazing!

'Retreading'

The bizarre image and the vivid colours make this both truly outstanding and memorable  by photographer Miss Aniela

Green with Envy

I am quite the fan of the ankle length skirt, they are elegant in principle but able to be made modern and stylish. This green American Apparel skirt is just beautiful and come next payday will be mine.

Below is a photo from Ring My Bell's blog of her in the skirt, and with some gorgeous Miu Miui shoes.

Mary Katrantzou (again)

Ok so I posted photos from her show two days ago but I am a little bit in love with her use of fabrics and on the Topshop website found a full show report with some great photos. And those shoes, hot!

A beautiful and innovative collection, and the perfect antidote to those grey winter days.

Beautiful Prints, Lampshade Skirts and Structure

Mary Katrantzou designs are outstanding.

The beautiful fabrics, in so many different prints, sometimes in one stunning outfit, the shape and the structure of the pieces and the rich colours. Just lovely.

Kind of reminds me of Russian dolls!

Roll on Winter

One of the highlights of London Fashion Week for me is always Burberry's catwalk, and this year's designs defiantly do not disappoint.

Roll on winter 2011!

Ok so it's a long video, but wow is it worth a look.

These two coats and the shoes are top of my 'if I had money wish list'!

Continuing Today's Mulberry Theme

"She is a gorgeous girl living in a dilapadated country estate, popping outside for a cigarette"

This was Mulberry's description for their A/W 2011 collection at London Fashion Week. A beautiful and quintessentially english collection, well you wouldn't expect anything less from them.

Frolicking in the Mulberry Woodland

This weekend British brand Mulberry held their LFW fashion woodland party at Claridges, with berry mojitos, cider, chestnuts and foxy biscuits inside a woodland themed venue complete with giant red toadstools!

O how I wish I could visit the Mulberry Woods.

Elle has some images of the lucky fashion guests. My favorites include.....

Clemence Poesy & Kirsten Dunst

Gemma Arterton

A Blur of Purple

Last night I was lucky enough to get to attend Pierre Garroudi's LFW a/w 2011  show at his Crucifix Lane Gallery.

It was full of amazing (and slightly insane) hair in shades of purple and lilac, which has now got me craving lilac candy-floss hair. It was a very unified haute-couture collection with wonderfully structured and textured (purple) designs. The models put on a good show too, very fun.

Here are a few photos I managed to take on my Blackberry, not the best quality but you get to see a little glimpse of the models!

For better photographs have a look at Unfolded Magazine's or Pierre Garroudi's Blog...
